Ultralift TP Magnetic Lifter
Safe, efficient lifter for steel plate and steel pressings
A safe and efficient way to move ferrous loads
Overview - Ultralift Plus
The premier Ultralift Plus lifting magnet provides fast and efficient lifting for a wide range of loads in the factory or workshop. It's capable of lifting both round and flat section loads.
Ultralift Plus uses high intensity neodymium 'rare earth' magnet material for the highest power to weight ratio. The material is permanently magnetic, and switching the Ultralift Plus on and off is manual, so no power is required and it has no operating costs. You can use it almost anywhere - just hook it to your hoist or crane. Ultralift Plus is backed by a 3 year warranty.
Ultralift Plus has a range of built in safety mechanisms:
• Lifting eye sensor - when under tension the lifting eye automatically locks the handle ensuring that the load cannot be released
• Safety shim - the safety shim enables pre-testing of the load thereby ensuring a 3:1 guaranteed safety factor
• Safety button - locks the handle in place preventing the accidental release of the load
For lifting thin plate see Ultralift TP.
* Please note that the Working Load Limit (WLL) is now used instead of Safe Working Load (SWL). The Lifting force values shown include the 3:1 safety factor and have been based on using thick high magnetic permeability steel with no air gaps. Air gaps, thinner materials and materials with lower magnetic permeability can all reduce the pull force a lifter can actually achieve. Please note that the achievable pull force is reduced when lifting thinner mild steel plate. Please note that the diameter of the round bar can affect the amount of lift that can be achieved. You must follow LOLER, PUWER, ASME B30.20 and H&S advice. You should always check for a downrate, factor in any downrate to then perform a safety lift, then perform a full lift only after a successful safety lift.
