Overview - RAPID 4000 Metal Detector
Detects and separates metal contamination from bulk free-fall processing lines
The Rapid 4000 metal detector from Eclipse Magnetics detects and separates all magnetic and non-magnetic metal contaminants (steel, stainless steel, aluminium) – even if enclosed in the product.
Metal contaminants are rejected through the “Quick Flap” reject unit. The position of waste reject unit can be turned to match the position of the collecting tray, and the free-fall height of the unit can be individually adjusted on site.
Applications
Machinery protection for extruders, blow moulding machines, fine grinding mills, after dose units (rotary valve, vibro chamfer)
Quality control e.g. for pre-delivery inspection of new goods, granulate, furnish, reclaim before octabins, big-bag stations, dryers and packing stations
