If you like solving problems and don’t fancy being stuck behind a desk all day, this could be right up your street.
As a Field Service Engineer with Eclipse Magnetics, you’ll be out on the road, meeting customers, fixing issues, and making sure their equipment keeps running smoothly. No two days will look the same, and that’s exactly the point.
The role is hands-on and varied. One day you might be troubleshooting a problem on-site, the next you could be training a customer on how to get the most out of their equipment. There’s also the admin side of things: completing service and inspection reports, managing your expenses, and making sure you’ve got the right stock in the van to do the job. Along the way, you’ll spot opportunities for upgrades or new service agreements and feed those back into the team.
To do this well, you’ll need some experience in the service industry and a solid understanding of mechanical systems, ideally with knowledge of pneumatics and electrics too. Just as important is your ability to think on your feet, communicate clearly with customers, and plan your own workload without needing someone looking over your shoulder. You’ll be travelling extensively, which means plenty of time on the road so this is not a standard 9–5, you’ll therefore need to be flexible and comfortable with the lifestyle that comes with it.
In return, you’ll get a company van, ongoing product training, and the backing of an established business with a strong reputation. You’ll also have the support of a wider operations team, but the freedom to manage your own workday and make decisions on-site.

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and ready for your next challenge? If you’re looking for a role that goes beyond the call centre and gives you the chance to really make an impact, we’re looking for a Customer Services Executive to join our team in Sheffield.
Reporting to the Customer Services Team Leader, this role is all about providing ‘best in class’ customer service while ensuring the smooth and accurate administration of our UK and export sales orders. You’ll be a key point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, supporting key accounts, and ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression. From order entry to final despatch, you’ll take pride in getting it right first time, every time.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across departments and with our partner organisations, building strong relationships while keeping everything on track. Day to day, you’ll be processing and managing orders, responding to customer enquiries, managing schedules and documentation, and supporting with general administrative tasks. Whether it’s providing updates, solving problems, or ensuring our systems and records are accurate, you’ll play a vital role in keeping customers delighted and operations running smoothly.
What about you? You’ll already have proven experience in a customer service environment and will be confident in your ability to communicate clearly, both in writing and over the phone. With outstanding attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, you’ll be comfortable managing multiple tasks, solving problems, and working at pace without compromising on accuracy. A confident user of Microsoft Office and CRM systems, you may also have experience with ERP systems and supporting export customers – but above all, you’ll bring enthusiasm, resilience and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
